Atrangi Re: Akshay Kumar Shares His New Look On Last Day Of Shoot, Thanks Co-Stars Sara Ali Khan & Dhanush

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is on a roll as he is shooting for back-to-back projects. Khiladi Kumar is one of the most sought-after and bankable actors in the Hindi film industry as his films manage to set the cash registers jingling. The ‘Rustom’ star shared a new picture from the sets of his upcoming film ‘Atrangi Re’ and thanked his co-stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush for letting him become a part of the film.

Akshay said that he can’t wait for his fans to experience the ‘magic created’ by filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who has helmed ‘AtrangiRe’. The ‘PadMan’ actor can be seen donning a magician outfit and hat in the picture, which was clicked on the last day of shoot. Many fans wondered if Akshay is playing a magician in the film after the 'Housefull 4' star shared his new look on Twitter.

“It’s the last day of #AtrangiRe and I can’t wait for you’ll to experience the magic created by @aanandlrai. Also a big thank you to my co-stars #SaraAliKhan and @dhanushkraja for letting me be a part of this beautiful film,” Akshay tweeted. He also tagged the film’s music director A.R. Rahman while sharing the post on the micro-blogging site.

Aanand L Rai responded to Akshay's post on social media. He wrote, "King is not a happy man but a happy man is a king. Thank you Happy Man @akshaykumar for making this  Atrangi journey a happy one."

'Atrangi Re' is slated to hit the silver screens on August 6, 2021. It was originally supposed to release to Valentine's Day 2021; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. The makers have shot for the film in cities like Mumbai, Agra, Lucknow, Madhurai and Noida.

Talking about Akshay Kumar, the 'Good Newwz' actor will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi'. The cop drama co-starring Katrina Kaif will arrive in the cinema halls on April 30, 2021. Movie buffs are quite excited for the flick as Akshay will be seen playing the role of an police officer in it.
