Chaitra Navratri will begin on March 30, 2025, which marks the Pratipada Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the Chaitra month. The festival will conclude on April 7, 2025, with the Navratri Vrat Parana. On the first day, Ghatasthapana is performed, which also marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and the celebration of Gudi Padwa.

This year, Chaitra Navratri will begin and end on a Sunday, meaning Maa Durga will arrive and depart on an elephant.
