Ajay Devgn And Rohit Shetty Reunite For Singham Again

After very successful 'Singham' and 'Singham Returns', Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are back for the third part of the franchise, ‘Singham Again’.

New Delhi: After the very successful 'Singham' and 'Singham Returns', Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are back for the third part of the franchise, ‘Singham Again’.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share details about the film. He wrote, “#Xclusiv… AJAY DEVGN – ROHIT SHETTY REUNITE FOR ‘SINGHAM AGAIN’… BIGGG NEWS… One of the most successful combinations ever – #AjayDevgn and director #RohitShetty – collaborate once again… For #SinghamAgain [yes, that’s the title]… Will start once #Ajay is free from #Bholaa.”

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe originated with Singham in 2011 and was followed by Singham Returns. Both the films were superhit. Rohit extended the universe with With Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.

Rohit Shetty had earlier confirmed about the third installment of the franchise to Indian Express.  “I am focusing on the next chapter of Singham. We will be starting the film in April next year, after Cirkus releases. While Singham is technically part of Simba and Sooryavanshi, it’s been a long time since I worked with Ajay. The last Singham came in 2014 and is yet one of the most favourite films on satellite. Time has changed and the canvas has become bigger and I have been wanting to make something with Ajay,” he had told Indian Express.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty’s next ‘Cirkus’ starring Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and others, will release on December 23.

The film marks Ranveer Singh's third collaboration with Rohit Shetty after 'Simmba' and the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi', where he had an extended cameo appearance.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which has been turned into Bollywood comedy flicks like 'Angoor' and 'Do Dooni Chaar', served as the inspiration for 'Cirkus'.

Ranveer will reportedly be seen reprising Sanjeev Kumar's role from the cult film 'Angoor' and Varun will reprise Deven Verma’s character.

The comedy film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, T-Series, and Rohit Shetty Picturez.
