Actress Sonu Walia gets harassed with obscene video calls, lodges Police complaint
New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonu Walia, who is known for her role in Rakesh Roshan’s popular film ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’ became the victim of death threats, obscene calls and videos.
Soon actress informed the police about it and lodged a complaint with Mumbai Police. She filed a FIR against unknown persons under sections 354 of IPC and other sections of the IT act at Mumbai’s Bangur Nagar police station.
While informing the police, Sonu said that it’s been a week that she is getting such kind of calls and obscene videos. Even after giving warning to the caller, he didn’t stop but increased the number of calls.
Calls were coming from different numbers and approached police when she could not take harassment anymore. Talking to media, Inspector Shirish Gaikwad said the numbers were now not in operation.
Speaking of Sonu Walia’s career, she is famous for movie ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’ and also got Filmfare Award for that movie. Former Miss India has also holds degree in psychology.
Sonu got married in year 2000 to a US-based hotelier who died in 2010.
