'Sitaare Zameen Par', the sequel of iconic 'Taare Zameen Par', hits theatres tomorrow and has already won praise from cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

New Delhi: With just one day to go before the release of 'Sitaare Zameen Par', the much-anticipated sequel to the beloved 'Taare Zameen Par', excitement is at an all-time high. The trailer and songs have already impressed fans, and now, an early and touching review has come in — from none other than cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar Reviews 'Sitaare Zameen Par'

Sachin Tendulkar, known not only for his unmatched legacy on the field but also for his emotional depth and connection with social causes, was visibly moved after watching the film. Speaking about 'Sitaare Zameen Par', he said, “Film bahot achi lagi. Ye movie aisi hai ke aap team sitaare ke saath haste ho rote ho movie main hi. I have always said that sport has the power to teach us everything. Itne saare messages milte hai, it has the power to bring everyone together toh ye movie waisa he message deti hai."

He added, "Main saare actors ko big thumbs up deta hu, bahot acha job kiya hai, very well done and all the very best to you.”

About 'Sitaare Zameen Par'

Directed by R.S. Prasanna, who previously helmed the genre-defying 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan', 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is a heartfelt family entertainer backed by Aamir Khan Productions. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles, alongside ten promising newcomers, Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.

With music by the iconic trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the film promises a powerful soundtrack that complements its emotional narrative.

Produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with B. Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka also onboard as producers, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is set for a theatrical release on June 20, 2025.
