'Maha Shivratri' 2022: Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan And Other Bollywood Celebrities Extend Wishes

Taking to their Instagram handles, Kartik Aaryan, Shilpa Shetty, Sara Ali Khan and several others prayed to Lord Shiva for everyone's prosperity and well-being.

New Delhi: On the auspicious occassion of Maha Shivratri, several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handles to extend wishes to fans and their loved ones. Taking to their Instagram handles, Kartik Aaryan, Shilpa Shetty, Sara Ali Khan and several others prayed to Lord Shiva for everyone's prosperity and well-being.

Actor Kartik Aaryan shared a picture of himself performing puja and wrote, "Har Har Mahadev."

Shilpa Shetty shared a picture of Lord Shiva and captioned it as, "॥ ॐ नमः शिवाय ॥
Maha Shivaratri ki dheron shubhkaamnayein aap sabhi ko🙏 Shiv ji aapke parivar par apni kripa banaaye rakhein, aur unke aashirwad se aap sab ke jeevan mein sukh-samruddhi bani rahe."

Sara Ali Khan, who is a devout follower of 'Mahadev', shared a picture of herself, with the idol of Lord Shiva in the background. She offered her prayers at Omkareshwar Temple Jyotirlinga. Sara wrote, "Happy Mahashivtratri 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Jai Bholenath."

Abhishek Bachchan wrote, "Har Har Mahashivratri" along with a clip of Lord Shiva.

Priyanka Chopra also performed a puja on the occassion of Maha Shivratri, with husband Nick Jonas in their Los Angeles home. 

Actor Mohit Raina, who is known for essaying the role of Lord Shiva in the television serial 'Devon Ke Dev- Mahadev', shared a post by writing, "Shambhu Shambhu."

 

Actress Mouni Roy, a devout follower of Lord Shiva, shared a series of pictures, performing Puja at the temple.

Maha Shivratri is observed in several Indian states like Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab etc. On this auspicious day, followers and devotees of Lord Shiva observe fast and special puja is performed in several temples across the world.
