BTS's Jungkook Set For Big-Screen Debut With Documentary 'I AM STILL', Deets Inside

In his first documentary, 'I AM STILL', BTS' Jungkook takes viewers on a personal journey through his rise to stardom.

New Delhi: The highly anticipated documentary 'I AM STILL' will mark BTS member Jungkook's debut big screen appearance. The film will provide an exclusive and personal glimpse at the life and career of BTS's youngest member. Jungkook, encircled by a collage of his own photographs, is shown in the teaser poster, which sets the scene for a personal and illuminating glimpse into his life. The film is set to release in theatres on September 18, 2024. 

Many BTS supporters, or ARMY, have been waiting eagerly for this announcement since it was first made public on July 11, 2024. ‘I AM STILL’, distributed by Trafalgar, will showcase Jungkook's ability and devotion via exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, and thrilling live performances. Trafalgar claims that the documentary will bring viewers closer to Jungkook by exploring his meteoric climb to popularity and his genuine relationship with ARMY all over the globe.

During an appearance on Suga's online program ‘Suchwita’, Jungkook offered fans a sneak look and said that the documentary captures his journey from the release of his smash song "Seven" to the making of his first solo album.

When To Book Tickets For ‘I AM STILL’ 

The worldwide premiere of ‘I AM STILL’ will take place on August 21, 2024, at 6 AM PDT, 9 AM EDT, and 2 PM BST, and ticket sales will begin that day. On September 4, 2024, Korean fans will be allowed to make reservations, while Japanese fans will have until September 13, 2024, to do the same. This is in preparation for the film's October 4, 2024, release in Japan.

On August 21, fans in India who are eager to see the documentary in theatres may purchase tickets from 6:30 PM IST. Fans are advised to save the date and set reminders to avoid missing out on the concert, as tickets are anticipated to sell out rapidly due to the enormous worldwide fandom of BTS. 

Jungkook, along with RM, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, and V, is now serving his required period in the South Korean army. The only band member who has been released is the oldest, Kim Seokjin.

Reports have it that BTS will go back to performing as a band in the middle of 2025.
