KBC 15: Know What Is The Answer Of The Rs 7 Crore Jackpot Question That Made The Show’s Second Crorepati Jasnil Kumar Quit
Jasnil Kumar secured a substantial amount of Rs 1 crore along with a brand new car. However, when confronted with the high-stakes Rs 7 crore question, he hesitated and chose to quit.
New Delhi: In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 15 we witnessed an exciting moment with the emergence of the second millionaire of the season. Jasnil Kumar, hailing from the quaint town of Anwak in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, secured a substantial amount of Rs 1 crore along with a brand new car. However, when confronted with the high-stakes Rs 7 crore question, he hesitated and ultimately decided to opt out of the show due to uncertainty about the correct answer.
The Rs 1 crore question that was asked to Jasnil was as follows:
The gold left after a yagya performed by whom was used by the Pandavas to refill their treasury and conduct the Ashwamedha yagya?
A. Vikarna
B. Marutta
C. Kubera
D. Likhita
To this, he gave the correct answer which was option B- Marutta, thereby bagging the whopping prize money.
However, Jasnil attempted the Rs 7 crore question, but was not sure about the answer after which he decided to quit. But, later he answered the question correctly.

After quitting, Jasnil chose option B, which was the right answer.
In an interview with Indian Express, Jasnil shared that he always aimed at winning big and creating history. While he’d been preparing for years, he also said that the jacket that Amitabh gave him on the show proved to be a lucky charm for him.
Talking about how he felt being on the hotseat, Jainil told Indian Expresses, "When I was on the hot seat, I was initially a little nervous but as I started giving the right answers, I got confident. For years, I have dreamt of this day where my name is announced as the crorepati. I have visualised this scene in my head so many times. Honestly, I also prepared well to ensure that I win big and hence I was confident. It has been a long journey for me to reach there, and it is almost like a tapasya for me."
KBC 15 airs from Monday to Friday at 9 PM on Sony TV.
