Former Bigg Boss contestant and actor Armaan Kohli has been in Arthur Road jail for months now, following his arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for possession and consumption of drugs. Armaan had moved the Bombay High Court after his bail was rejected by the magistrate court and then by the Sessions Court and his hearing was scheduled for Oct 27 in the Bombay High Court.

Armaan’s bail hearing didn’t take place on Wednesday due to the court’s busy schedule and now according to a report in etimes, sources have revealed that his hearing could take place tomorrow i.e Friday, October 29, 2021.

The actor’s lawyers are urging the court to hear Armaan’s bail application on humanitarian grounds now, stating that he’s the only child and his old and ailing parents are dependent on him.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested Kohli in August after the recovery of a small quantity of cocaine during searches at his Andheri residence.

"The NCB is probing the route and linkages used to bring the seized cocaine to Mumbai and the involvement of other traffickers," Wankhede had said after Kohli’s arrest.

Armaan was arrested by NCB in drugs case on 29 August 2021. He was charged with multiple sections of the (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) NDPS Act.

On work front, Armaan Kohli was last seen in a negative role in Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which released in 2015.
