New Delhi: Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli have been living in the UK. Since giving birth to her son Akaay in February, Anushka has been out of the spotlight. As Anushka juggles motherhood and her acting career, her fans are waiting impatiently for additional sightings of the actress. Just recently, the actress pleasantly surprised her admirers by sharing a new apparel brand's holiday-themed advertising campaign on Instagram. 

In the advertisement, Anushka can be seen accessorising traditional jewellery with a range of colourful salwar suits in white, red, maroon, and yellow. She captioned the video, “Let’s dive into never-ending celebrations, and make every moment an opportunity to sparkle! Celebrate milestones, moments, and even small victories that make every day, a reason to celebrate”.

In spite of her absence from the film industry, Anushka has maintained a steady stream of social media engagement via her campaigns and occasional postings. ‘Chakda Xpress’, a biopic on cricketer Jhulan Goswami, is her next big screen production after a six-year hiatus. Although the exact release date has not been revealed, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the film on Netflix.

Anushka and Virat tied the knot in a small ceremony in Italy in 2017, after meeting on a commercial shoot in 2013. The couple's first child, a girl named Vamika, was born in January 2021.
