New Delhi: Actress Rashmika Mandanna recently found herself in a terrifying ordeal as her flight was compelled to make an emergency landing, leaving both her and fellow passengers visibly shaken. Sharing a snapshot from the flight, Rashmika's post quickly went viral, eliciting concern from her fans. Accompanying her on the journey was fellow actress Shraddha Das.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Rashmika posted a selfie with Shraddha along with a caption that read, "Just FYI, this is how we escaped death today…" According to reports from Deccan Chronicle, the flight was en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad when it encountered turbulence, forcing it to return to Mumbai after 30 minutes due to a technical glitch. Thankfully, no injuries were reported among the passengers.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Rashmika is riding high on the success of her recent release "Animal," where she shared the screen with Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has emerged as a blockbuster hit at the box office, adding another feather to Rashmika's cap.
Talking about the immense love that she received from the Hindi film industry in an earlier interview with Grazia, Rashmika said, "2020 was hard on all of us, and I remember during those two years that we had to sit at home feeling lost and hopeless. The transition to Hindi films wasn’t always on the cards—me being an actor is a surprise to myself (laughs), but it happened because of the immense love I was receiving from the Hindi industry, and I wanted to give that back and do a film in Hindi as well. I feel like it’s my responsibility to do good films and be a part of films that give back to the people who love me, which makes me disciplined and hard-working.”
On the work front, Rashmika is currently busy shooting for 'Pushpa 2: The Rule.' Starring Allu Arjun, the actress will be seen reprising her role as Srivalli in the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster film.
