Chum Darang Receives Surprise Support From Arunachal Pradesh CM Ahead Of 'Bigg Boss 18' Grand Finale

Bigg Boss 18: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu urged the audience to vote for Chum Darang.

New Delhi: The highly anticipated Bigg Boss 18 finale is approaching on January 19, 2025, with nine contestants fighting for the trophy. Chum Darang is one of the finalists, has received support from an unexpected quarter - the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu.

On his official X Twitter, Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his happiness at the news that Chum Darang, a resident of Pasighat and daughter of Arunachal Pradesh, has made it into the top nine on the reality competition. The tweet reads: “I'm happy to learn that Chum Darang, a daughter of Arunachal Pradesh from Pasighat, has reached among the top 9 of the reality show #BiggBoss18. Show your solidarity with her, and don't forget to vote for Chum. I'm hopeful that she will be a winner and achieve many more milestones in years to come. My best wishes to Chum Darang.”

Chum's team shared the screenshot of CM Pema Khandu's and responded with gratitude, writing, "To the Honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh @pemakhandu_bjp Sir, We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your unwavering support for Chum Darang. Her exceptional journey in the Bigg Boss house has made every Arunachali and the whole North East India immensely proud. 'Bigg Boss 18' Grand Finale

The recent Ticket to Finale task added more excitement to the competition, as contestants battled for a direct spot in the finale. Vivian Dsena and Chum Darang faced off, with Vivian emerging as the winner. The top 9 finalists are Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Eisha Singh, Chahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar, Chum Darang, Shrutika Arjun, Vivian Dsena and Karan Veer Mehra.
