'Bigg Boss OTT Season 3' contestant and YouTube vlogger Armaan Malik is no stranger to controversy, particularly around his personal life. Recently, he found himself at the center of fresh speculation regarding a supposed third marriage. Rumours suggested that Armaan had secretly wed Laksh, who is employed with Armaan and his two wives Payal and Kritika, after she shared a photo of her Karwa Chauth mehndi on social media. This sparked interest because the design featured the name "Sandeep," which is Armaan’s real name. 

Armaan Malik addresses rumours of third marriage

In a recent vlog, Armaan addressed these rumours, clearing the air on the viral mehndi photo that fans took as a sign of another marriage. He explained, "Laksh jis community se hai, voh Singh community hai Sardar mei hai. Aur Sandeep Kaur, Sandeep, unme se kisi ka naam hoga, gharpe bhi naam hote hai bohot saare naam. Yeh zaruri nahi hai ki mera hi naam ho (Laksh belongs to the Singh community, where names like Sandeep are common. It is not necessary that the name in the mehndi is only mine).”  

He further said, “Jisse uski engagement hone wali hai, kya pata uska naam ho. Jisko dikhana ho voh openly dikhayega... Uski life hai uski marzi hai. Joh voh kare. Har chiz se mera naam zaruri hai kya (Maybe her to-be-fiance’s name can be Sandeep... It’s her life and her choice; she can do as she pleases. Does my name have to be connected every time?).” 

Payal Malik also spoke about marriage rumours

Following Armaan's clarification, his first wife, Payal Malik, also spoke out about the situation, revealing that both she and Armaan's second wife, Kritika Malik, had faced online trolling amid the third marriage rumours. Payal noted that fans bombarded them with questions, seeking answers about the relationship between Armaan and Laksh. 

Commenting on the matter, Payal said, "Mai aur Golu (Kritika) biwiya hai. Humare ghar mei koi aur aayegi aur voh humare pati se pyaar karegi ya fir uski mehendi lagayegi aur hum jhelenge? Itne bewakoof nahi hai ki hum jhele voh chiz se" (Kritika and I are Armaan’s wives. If someone is coming to our house, loving our husband, and wearing mehndi for him, do you think we would tolerate it? We’re not foolish to put up with something like that). 

Payal also spoke about how some trollers had shown misplaced sympathy, assuming she was enduring this situation for her children’s sake. She explained that people questioned her and Kritika about Armaan’s rumored third marriage, speculating that she had accepted it under pressure. 

How the third marriage rumour started

The speculation intensified after Laksh posted a video of her mehndi on Karwa Chauth, in which "Sandeep" appeared on her hand. Armaan later posted photos with Laksh, along with a caption aimed at critics: "Logo ka kaam hai aapko judge karna or haters se aapka ghar nhi chalta" (People’s job is to judge, but your household doesn’t run on haters).
