New Delhi: ‘Aashram’ is a crime drama MX Player original web series starring Bobby Deol, Darshan Kumar, Anupriya Goenka and others. Directed by Prakash Jha, the plot revolves around ‘Baba Nirala’ portrayed by Bobby Deol whose followers have blind faith in him and will do anything that ‘Baba Nirala’ asks for. Each episode unfolds a mystery around the protagonist in the first season and the conundrum of whether the cop will be able to find any evidence against ‘Baba Nirala’ remains to unfold in the second season. Well, the wait is over as the premiere date of ‘Aashram 2: The Dark Side’ has been announced and it drops a day after IPL 2020 ends, i.e. on November 11. Director Prakash Jha is naturally excited about the new season as he was quoted saying by IANS, “We've all worked very hard and with a lot of passion on this series, and the response from the audience has made every bit of it worthwhile.
