New Delhi: In response to people propagating "false" rumours about member Rose, Blackpink's management company, YG Entertainment, has released a statement. Rumours of Rose's drug use have recently surfaced online. Her agency denied all allegations and threatened to take serious legal action.
Riccardo Tisci, the former chief design officer of Burberry, caused controversy by posting pictures of Rose online. Their picture prompted a lot of suspicions, one of which was that there were drugs in the background. Later, the post has been removed by Riccardo.
In a new statement, as quoted by Soompi, YG Entertainment said, “This is YG Entertainment. We reveal that the rumors associated with BLACKPINK’s Rosé that are spreading on various online communities, social media, etc. are clear false information. We are taking legal action against acts that violate the human rights of and defame our agency artist. We are currently monitoring those who created and spread the rumors, and will take strong legal action in the future without any leniency or settlement.”
Along with the allegations of drug use, Rose's photos posted by Riccardo also prompted relationship rumours about her. She was pictured with actor Kang Dong Won. In addition to the suspicions about her drug usage, Riccardo's photos of Rose also prompted speculation about their relationship. She appeared to be posing with actor Kang Dong Won in a picture. In 2003, Kang Dong Won made his television debut in the K-drama 'Country Princess'. His most well-known work is 'Temptation of the Wolves'.
