In a tweet, CM Sarma expressed the enthusiasm of #ModiParivarAssam welcoming the Prime Minister to the historic land of Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev. From Tezpur, Modi proceeded to Panbari in Kaziranga via helicopter.

All About PM Modi's 2-Day Visit Assam Visit:
The last stretch of his journey, covering approximately 15 kms, will be covered by road from the helipad to the Police Guest House near Central Kohora Range in Kaziranga National Park.
PM Modi is scheduled to spend the night at the Guest House and embark on a jungle safari early on Saturday morning. Officials confirmed arrangements for both jeep and elephant safaris, with the Prime Minister expected to be present for approximately two hours. As he arrived at Kaziranga National Park, a large crowd gathered to welcome him to the world heritage site.
After the safari, Modi will depart for Arunachal Pradesh, participating in two scheduled programmes. He will return to Jorhat in the afternoon to inaugurate the 125-ft high 'Statue of Valour' dedicated to the legendary Ahom general Lachit Barphukan.
The Prime Minister will then proceed to Meleng Meteli Pothar, inaugurating and laying the foundation for central and state projects totalling around Rs 18,000 crore. Scheduled to address a public meeting at the venue, he will later depart for West Bengal. It is worth noting that the Prime Minister had previously visited Assam on February 4, launching infrastructure projects valued at Rs 11,600 crore.
