Mainpuri Lok Sabha Elections Results 2024: Samajwadi Party candidate Dimple Yadav has won the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat, securing a significant margin of 221,639 votes over her nearest rival, BJP's Jaiveer Singh. Dimple got a total of 598,526 votes, while Singh received 376,887 votes. BSP candidate Shiv Prasad Yadav secured 66,814 votes.

After winning from Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency, SP leader Dimple Yadav said, "I thank the voters of Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat. The development of the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat will be the priority of the Samajwadi Party. The public of Uttar Pradesh has taught a lesson to BJP. This is the victory of people"

Mainpuri is a stronghold of the Yadav family and has a significant political legacy. The constituency has been represented by Mulayam Singh Yadav, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a prominent figure in the Samajwadi Party.

Mainpuri is one of the key Lok Sabha seats among Uttar Pradesh’s 80 constituencies, known as a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party (SP). In the 2022 by-election, the Samajwadi Party successfully retained the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat, preserving the legacy of its founder, Mulayam Singh Yadav. In 2022 by-election Dimple Yadav, Mulayam’s daughter-in-law, won by 2.88 lakh votes. This victory underscored the party's continued influence and strong voter base in the region.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, SP's Mulayam Singh Yadav won this seat with 524,926 votes, while BJP's Prem Singh Shakya secured the second position with 430,537 votes, and INLD's Savendra Singh stood third with 2,631 votes.

In the 2014 elections, there was no significant impact of the Modi wave on this seat, and Mulayam Singh Yadav of the then Samajwadi Party won by a significant margin. In the subsequent by-election after vacating his seat, Tej Pratap Singh Yadav also won by a significant margin. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav received approximately 65% of the votes, while the BJP candidate received only 33% of the votes.
