'I Don't Care': Kamal Nath Disregards Madhya Pradesh Exit Poll Results, Expresses Confidence In Voters

Former CM Kamal Nath exuded confidence on voters and said that he does not care about the exit polls.

Madhya Pradesh Elections: A day ahead of the counting day in Madhya Pradesh Elections 2023, former CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath exuded confidence in voters and said that he does not care about the exit polls. Speaking to the reporters on Saturday, Kamal Nath said, "I don't care about any exit poll. I have confidence in the voters of Madhya Pradesh." On being questioned about whether the Congress party is in touch with independent MLAs and rebel MLAs, the former state CM said that there is no need to do that.

The 230-member assembly went to polls in a single phase on November 17 as the BJP and the Congress locked horns to come back to power in the state. The saffron party won 109 seats in the 2018 MP elections.

MP Exit Poll Results

According to the ABP-C Voter Exit Poll, Congress would most likely make a come back in the state. The grand old party has been projected to win anything between 113 to 137 seats and the BJP is looking at seats between 88 and 112. The Congress is also projected to draw a vote share of 44.1 per cent, a growth from 40.9 per cent in the last election. The BJP, however, is likely to see a minor dip in the vote percentage at 40.7 per cent from 41 per cent in the last elections.

Earlier, the ABP-CVoter snap poll predicted that the Congress could win anything between 118 to 130 seats, while the BJP could bag between 99 and 11 seats. The poll also predicted that the grand old party could bring 44.3 per cent of the total votes to its kitty while 42.1 per cent had been predicted for the saffron party.
