‘Madhya Pradesh Will Celebrate Diwali 3 Times’: Amit Shah’s Poll Prediction In Dhar — WATCH

Union Home Minister Amit Shah proclaimed that Madhya Pradesh will witness a triple celebration of Diwali as he predicted the BJP's win in the November 17 assembly elections.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah proclaimed on Saturday that Madhya Pradesh will witness a triple celebration of Diwali. According to him, the first celebration would be on Sunday, the second on December 3, coinciding with the announcement of the assembly poll results, and the third on January 22, aligning with the consecration of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.

During a public meeting in Manawar, Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, Shah remarked that "the Congress insulted Ramlala and made him reside in a tent for 70 years. The party did not let his temple be constructed. It adopted several ways to stall the temple work." He went on to credit Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ensuring the temple's construction in his second tenure.

He asserted that the Modi government, under PM Modi's leadership, has demonstrated the courage to put a halt to infiltrators in the country. He explicitly questioned the ability of the Congress and leaders of the opposition bloc INDIA to undertake such a task, news agency PTI reported.

In anticipation of the November 17 assembly elections, Shah rhetorically asked, “Modi ji has done the job of stopping infiltrators in the country and it is not possible for Congress and INDIA bloc leaders to do so. Whether infiltrators should be stopped or not.”

Shah underscored the government's decision to abrogate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, countering Rahul Gandhi's predictions of a "bloodbath".

"It was the Modi government that abrogated Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir despite Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claiming that it would lead to a bloodbath but nothing happened," Shah said.

He took a swipe at the Congress, accusing it of destroying the country's culture, asserting that it was the Modi government that nurtured and safeguarded it.

The Home Minister accused the Congress in the state of discontinuing several welfare schemes, including the 'Teerth Darshan Yojna,' during its 15-month tenure after the 2018 elections. Urging the electorate to cast their votes in favor of the BJP, Shah predicted a triple celebration of Diwali for the people.
