Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: The counting of votes on all 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan kept the political arena of the nation on edge since it began at 8 AM. At 10.25 AM. The INDIA was leading on 12 seats, while the BJP was ahead on 13. Important seats like Tonk Sawai Madhopur seat, Dausa, Churu and Jhunjhunu were swinging in favour of the INDIA bloc.

After multiple rounds, the Congress was leading in Ganganagar, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur Rural, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, and Barmer. The CPI-M, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, and Bharat Adivasi Party were ahead on 1 seat each.

With the sneak-peak into the results, Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma's leadership in the state has come into question.

The early trends were in contrast with the 2019 results when the BJP bagged 24 of the 25 seats.

In Rajasthan, the BJP alliance won 25 seats in the last election and was hoping to win in the same way this time too. However, in the initial trends, it seems to be facing tough competition from the Congress. Many big faces of the BJP are at stake here, among which Om Birla, Gajendra Singh Chauhan and Arjun Ram Meghwal are prominent. Apart from this, Govind Ram Meghwal, former CM Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot are big faces from the Congress.

The fate of former CM Vasundhara Raje's son Dushyant Singh is also at stake because he has been representing the Jhalawar-Baran seat for the last three Lok Sabha sessions. This time, too, he was fielded as a candidate from the same seat.

Gajendra Singh Chauhan is the candidate from Jodhpur, Arjun Ram Meghwal from Bikaner and Om Birla from Kota. At 10.53 AM, Om Birla was leading in Kota. Vaibhav Gehlot is the candidate from the Jalore seat and was trailing BJP's Lumbaram. Govind Ram Meghwal is pitted against BJP leader and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. Hanuman Beniwal, who contested the last election on a BJP ticket is not a part of the NDA this time. He is the RLTP candidate from Nagaur, which he was leading at 10.53. BJP has fielded Jyoti Mirdha against him. 

The Rajasthan Lok Sabha elections were held in the first and second phases on April 19 and 26. There has been 5% less voting in Rajasthan compared to the last election. As much as 61.34% voting has taken place in the two phases of voting here.
