Lok Sabha Election Phase-1: The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will kick off on April 19 with the first phase of voting to be held in 102 constituencies across 21 states and Union Territories on April 19, 2024. The deadline to file nominations for Phase-1 of voting for 20 states and UTs was March 27. Bihar's nomination filing deadline ended a day due to a state festival.

Among the key constituencies in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections are Dibrugarh and Sonitpur in Assam, Jamui in Bihar, Bastar in Chhattisgarh, Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir, Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh, Inner Manipur and Outer Manipur, Puducherry, Bikaner in Rajasthan, Chennai North, Chennai South, Chennai Central, and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Muzzafarnagar and Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, and Coochbehar and Alipurduars in West Bengal.

The key candidates in the fray for phase-1 of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are Jitendra Singh (Udhampur), Chirag Paswan (Jamui), Nakul Nath (Chhindwara), K Annamalai (Coimbatore),  L Murugan (Nilgiris), Tamilisai Soundararajan (Chennai South), Pon Radhakrishnan (Kanniyakumari), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (Thoothukkudi), V Vaithilingam (Puducherry), Harendra Singh Malik (Muzaffarnagar), Sanjeev Balyan (Muzaffarnagar), Jitin Prasada (Pilibhit), Manoj Tigga (Alipurduars), and Nisith Pramanik (Coochbehar).

Lok Sabha Polls Phase-2

The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be held on April 26. The nomination filing for the second phase ended on April 4. The elections will be held across 88 seats in 12 states and Union Territories — Tripura, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttar Pradesh.
