Once Arch Rivals, Congress And AAP Join Forces Against BJP In Delhi In Phase 6
Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Polling will be held on all the seven seats in Delhi with Congress and AAP set to join forces against BJP.
An interesting fight is set to begin in Delhi as the national capital will vote on Saturday with I.N.D.I.A bloc allies, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party — once arch rivals — joining forces against the Bharatiya Janata Party. All the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi are among the 58 constituencies going to polls across 8 states and Union Territories.
Simultaneous polling will also be held on 42 assembly contituencies on Odisha.
In the national capital, 162 candidates are in the fray for the penultimate phase of the Lok Sabha polls across the seven constituencies: Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, East Delhi, West Delhi, North West Delhi, North East Delhi, and South East Delhi.
While the BJP has fielded candidates on all seven seats, I.N.D.I.A bloc will contest the polls under a seat sharing arrangement with Congress contesting on three seats while AAP will enter the fray from four seats.
