Lok Sabha Polls: BJP To Contest On 17 Seats, CM Nitish's JD(U) Gets 16 Seats In Bihar
NDA Seat Sharing in Bihar: Other NDA allies including Upendra Kushwaha of the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha will get one seat each respectively.
The ruling NDA alliance in Bihar on Monday arrived at a seat-sharing agreement for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. The BJP will contest on 17 seats in Bihar while Nitish Kumar's JD(U) will contest on 16 seats.
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), led by late Ram Vilas Paswan's son Chirag Paswan, will fight on 5 seats in the state. Chirag Paswan will contest from Hajipur Lok Sabha seat, Bihar LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Raju Tiwari said.

Other NDA allies including Upendra Kushwaha of the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha will get one seat each respectively.

Reacting to the development, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary said the list of candidates will be declared soon.
"Everyone will contest the elections unitedly. We have finalised the seats and now the list of candidates will also be declared soon," Choudhary said.
With Union minister Pashupati Paras's LJP faction finding no mention in the seat-sharing deal, Bihar BJP chief Samrat Choudhary said that talks are going on with him.
Meanwhile, the RJD-Congress seat-sharing talks, which was scheduled for Monday in Delhi, was postponed.
In the 2019 polls, the BJP, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and late Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) had together got 39 seats, with a vote share of more than 53 per cent, a nearly 20 per cent edge over the 'Mahagathbandhan'. The Congress got one seat in the state, while the RJD failed to get any Lok Sabha seats.
Who's Contesting Where?
BJP will contest from Paschim Champaran, Purvi Champaran, Aurangabad, Madhubani, Araria, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Maharajganj, Saran, Ujiyarpur, Begusarai, Nawada, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Arrah, Buxar and Sasaram.
Nitish Kumar's JD(U) will field its candidates from Valmikinagar, Sitamarhi, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, Madhepura, Gopalganj, Siwan, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Nalanda, Jehanabad and Sheohar.
The LJP (Ram Vilas) will field its candidates from Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria and Jamui Lok Sabha seats.
Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi-led HAM will join the fray from the Gaya Lok Sabha seat while the RLM from Karakat.
