  Prime Minister Modi filed his Lok Sabha nomination papers from Varanasi parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh in front of District Magistrate and district election officer Surendra Singh. PM Modi was accompanied by several senior NDA leaders, including Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, AIADMK leaders, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Parkash Singh Badal, Lok Jan Shakti’s Ram Vilas Paswan, many Union ministers and chief ministers ahead of his nomination filing.
