Ahead Of Delhi Election 2025, AAP Announces Rs 2,100 For Women: Check Who Is Eligible

Delhi Election 2025: Kejriwal announced that the party would give Rs 2100 every month to women if AAP wins the election, scheduled to be held in February next year.

Delhi Elections 2025: Before the Delhi Assembly elections 2025, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. Kejriwal announced 'Mahila Samman Yojana', which was approved in the Delhi Cabinet meeting on Thursday. Under the scheme, the AAP government is giving Rs 1,000 per month to women in the national capital. The amount will be increased to Rs 2,100 every month if AAP wins the election, scheduled to be held in February next year.

During the Delhi Budget this year, the then Finance Minister Atishi had announced the Mahila Samman Yojana. Kejriwal has mentioned this during many of his election campaigns and padyatras. About 38 lakh of 67 lakh women in Delhi will be eligible for this scheme. Giving Mahila Samman Nidhi to all these women will put an additional burden of more than 4,000 crores on the Finance Department.

What Is The Eligibility For Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana?

  • The woman should be an official voter of Delhi.
  • The annual income of women should be up to or less than Rs 2.50 lakh
  • The age of women should be more than 18 years and less than 60 years.
  • If the woman has any four-wheeler in her name, she will not be considered eligible for the scheme.
