Additionally, K Chandrashekar Rao indirectly suggested Prime Minister Modi's resignation, citing the BJP's rule of leaders stepping down above 75 years of age.

BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao discussed the prospect of joining the I.N.D.I.A. Bloc in the event of it forming the government and emphasised the increasing significance of regional parties. He also underscored the significance of increased voter turnout, suggesting a changing political landscape with greater involvement of regional parties. Additionally, he indirectly suggested Prime Minister Modi's resignation, citing the BJP's rule of leaders stepping down above 75 years of age.

When asked if he will join I.N.D.I.A bloc if it forms government, K Chandrashekar Rao said, "According to the BJP's own rule, after 75 years of age nobody will take up any position. So, accordingly, Mr Modi has to step down. It is quite possible. It is up to the BJP people...There is nothing like a bloc. Now, regional parties will be the power in India."

Speaking to reporters after voting at his native village Chintamadaka in Siddipet district in Telangana, he also said, "The voting percentage should be a minimum of 65-70%...That is the situation which is forming in the country (increased role of regional parties), there is no doubt about it."

Earlier, former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, dismissed the existence of an I.N.D.I.A. bloc, stating that all political leaders, including Mamata Banerjee, are not part of it.

Five months after losing power to the Congress in Telangana, the BRS is independently contesting all 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
