The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) declared Mohan Singh Bisht as its candidate for the Mustafabad seat in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the third list of a candidate on Sunday for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February 5. In this list, the party has declared the name of Mohan Singh Bisht, who has been confirmed as the candidate for Mustafabad.

As per the report by Times Now, Bisht was initially displeased when the Karawal Nagar seat was assigned to Kapil Mishra. However, his candidature was later finalised for the Mustafabad seat after a meeting with BJP President JP Nadda.

Previously, AIMIM declared the candidacy of former MCD Councillor and AAP leader Tahir Hussain from the Mustafabad constituency. Hussain is presently in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in the 2020 North East Delhi riots.
