ABP-CVoter: Yogi-Led BJP Continues To Dominate UP. SP Biggest Challenger, Congress Not In Race

In the latest survey pertaining to the Uttar Pradesh election, the maximum vote share can be seen going to BJP once again. 

New Delhi: As Uttar Pradesh is among the five states set to undergo assembly elections early next year, ABP News in its weekly survey revealed how various political parties are expected to perform in the upcoming polls.

While the threat of COVID-19’s Omicron variant looms over the country, all parties have begun their election campaign in poll-bound states to woo voters.

In Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party (SP) is making claims of victory while Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress also look to secure power. 

On the other hand, the ruling BJP under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath continues to maintain that it will script history with a second consecutive term. 

Amidst all these claims, ABP News conducted a survey with CVoter to know which party can get the highest vote share in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Election 2022. 

In the latest survey pertaining to the Uttar Pradesh polls, the maximum vote share can be seen going to the ruling BJP once again. 

In comparison to the results released on December 4, there has been no change in BJP’s vote share. However, Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party has seen an increase of one per cent. In the data on December 4, SP was the second-largest with a 33 per cent vote share and in the latest survey result, it is projected to gain a 34 per cent vote share. 

Meanwhile, there has been no change in the predicted vote percentage for BSP whereas Congress is seen suffering a loss of one per cent in its vote share.

In this survey, CVoter received 14,354 responses from the people in Uttar Pradesh.  It was conducted between a period of December 16 to December 22. The survey is expected to have a margin of error of ±3 to ±5%.
