2019 Lok Sabha polls: Veteran Bollywood actress Jaya Prada files nomination for Rampur seat in UP

On the account of her 57th birthday, Jaya Prada shared a video announcing her nominations from Rampur against Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan.

Rampur: Noted bollywood actress turned politician  Jaya Prada filed her nomination from Rampur seat in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Jaya shall be taking on Samajwadi Party's Azam Khan in the Rampur constituency battle in what is being dubbed as a high voltage clash in the Lok Sabha elections. On the account of her 57th birthday, Jaya Prada shared a video announcing her nominations from Rampur against Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. She also mentioned that she is joining BJP in the video. Jaya expressed that she is delighted to contest the elections from Rampur and support Narendra Modi. She even extended her support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and declared that she is happy to receive blessings of everyone on the occasion of her birthday. She said that she was delighted that she got ticket from the place where she always wished to work from.
