Wardha: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 215783 votes. The polling / voting in Wardha constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas and Congress Party#s Adv. Charulata khajasingh tokas

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

Out of the 21 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Wardha, 19 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Meghe Sagar Dattatraya by a margin of 215783 votes.

• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janta Party here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Bharatiya Janta Party counterpart with a difference of 7062 votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 83083 votes INC candidate Datta Meghe had got 328905 while BJP got Mude Vijay Annaji votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 21975 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Mude Vijay Annaji attained 190803 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Sathe Vasant Purushottam Alias Bapusaheb bagged 168828 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Communist Party of India candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 23530 votes. Here, Communist Party of India leader Ghangare Ramchandra Marotrao attained 182436 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Shathe Vasant Purushottam bagged 158906 votes
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Communist Party of India candidate with a difference of 25830 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Sathe Vasant Purushottam attained 222046 votes and Communist Party of India candidate Ghangare Ramchandra Marotrao bagged 196216 votes
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Communist Party of India candidate with a difference of 23423 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Sathe Vasant Purushottam attained 244390 votes and Communist Party of India candidate Ghangare Ramchandra Marotrao bagged 220967 votes
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Communist Party of India candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC(I) candidate Vasantrao Sathe attained 296974 votes and CPM's Ghangare Ramchandra Marotrao bagged 119465 votes.
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated IND candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Gode Santoshrao Vyankatrao attained 219442 votes and IND's Dhote Jambuwantrao Bapurao bagged 102788 votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defated IND candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Jagjiwanrao Ganpatrao Kadam attained 300645 votes and IND's Ramchandra Marotrao Ghangare bagged 51128 votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 29104 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader K. J. Bajaj attained 144756 votes and IND candidate V. D. Raje Atram bagged 115652 votes
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 38041 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Kamalnayan Jamnalal Bajaj attained 143289 votes and IND candidate Narayansinh Sampatsinh Weakey bagged 105248 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated BJS candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Bajaj Kamalnayan Jamnalal attained 191737 votes and BJS's Shah Popatlal Bhaichand bagged 69374 votes.
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated SP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Shrimannarayan Dharamnarayan Agarwal attained 144755 votes and SP's Nilkanth Ramchandra Abhyyankar bagged 37330 votes.

एबीपी न्यूज-सी वोटर के सर्वे में सामने आया है कि एनडीए गठबंधन सरकार बनाने के लिए जरूरी 272 सीटों के आंकड़े से कुछ ही पीछे रह सकता है. उसे कुल 543 सीटों में से 264 सीटें मिलती दिख रही हैं. हालांकि बड़ी बात ये है कि यूपीए भी सरकार बनाने की रेस में सामने आता दिख रहा है. उसे कुल 543 में से 141 सीटें मिलती दिख रही हैं. सरकार बनाने के लिए एनडीए और यूपीए दोनों को ही काफी हद तक अन्य पर निर्भर रहना पड़ सकता है. अन्य के खाते में 138 सीटें जाती दिख रही हैं.
