New Delhi: The polling in Najafgarh constituency in the 2020 Assembly Election elections took place on 8th February. Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Kailash Gahlot, Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Ajit Kharkhari while Sahib Singh Yadav is contesting on Congress Party ticket. Voting in Najafgarh Assembly was held on 8 February in which 64.38% voters exercised their vote. Counting of votes in Najafgarh Assembly will begin today from 8 am, whose latest information will be available on this page.

Here are the past results of the Assembly polls in Najafgarh constituency

• 1993 Assembly Elections: In 2nd Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between IND and BJP here IND candidate defeated his BJP counterpart with a difference of 5379 votes.

• 1998 Assembly Elections: In Third Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between INC and IND here INC candidate defeated his IND counterpart with a difference of 1827 votes.

• 2003 Assembly Elections: In 4th Assembly election, IND candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 17090 votes. Here, IND leader Ranbir Singh attained 43342 votes and INC candidate Kanwal Singh bagged 26252 votes

• 2008 Assembly Elections: In 5th Assembly election, IND candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 11453 votes. Here, IND leader Bharat Singh attained 34028 votes and INC candidate Kanwal Singh Yadav bagged 22575 votes

• 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INLD here BJP candidate defeated his INLD counterpart with a difference of 9768 votes.
