Background

Nagaur: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, C R Choudhary from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 75218 votes. The polling / voting in Nagaur constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 5 on 6 May. The major contest is between Rashtriya Loktantrik Party#s Hanuman Beniwal and Congress Party#s Dr jyoti mirdha

Nagaur 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 25 out of the 25 parliamentary seat with 54.9 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just seats with a 30.4 percent vote share.

The total voter turnout was 59.81% Lok Sabha percent with 60.03% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Out of the 13 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Nagaur, 11 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of C R Choudhary of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Dr Jyoti Mirdha by a margin of 75218 votes.

  • 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 70627 votes BJP candidate Bhanwar Singh Dangawas had got 284657 while INC got Ramraghunath votes.
  • 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bahujan Samaj Party candidate with a difference of 48469 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Ram Raghunath Choudhary attained 267914 votes and Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Vijay Poonia bagged 219445 votes
  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Ramraghunath attained 411894 votes and BJP's Richhpalsingh Mirdha bagged 305495 votes.
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Nathuram Mirdha attained 287594 votes and BJP's Harishchand Kumawat bagged 128560 votes.
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Nathuram Mirdha attained 343238 votes and BJP's Sushil bagged 188194 votes.
  • 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha poll, JD candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, JD candidate Nathu Ram Mirdha attained 406075 votes and INC's Ram Niwas Mirdha bagged 215805 votes.
  • 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated LKD candidate with a difference of 48535 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Ram Niwas attained 219961 votes and LKD candidate Nathuram bagged 171426 votes
  • 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP candidate with a difference of 23215 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Nathu Ram attained 185025 votes and JNP candidate Gordhan Soni bagged 161810 votes
  • 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated BLD candidate with a difference of 20154 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Nathu Ram attained 189290 votes and BLD candidate Kishan Lal Shah bagged 169136 votes
  • 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated SWA candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Nathoo Ram attained 244913 votes and SWA's Nand Kumar bagged 144018 votes.
  • 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, SWA candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 23796 votes. Here, SWA leader N. Kumar attained 167326 votes and INC candidate O. Singh bagged 143530 votes
  • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 30884 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Surendra Kumar Dey attained 130166 votes and IND candidate Madan Singh bagged 99282 votes
  • 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated IND candidate by a margin of 65033 votes INC candidate Mathura Dass had got 142458 while IND got Keshri Singh votes.
  • 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Independent candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 14465 votes. Here, Independent leader Gajadhar attained 94105 votes and INC candidate Pittie Govinglal bagged 79640 votes

नए आंकड़ों के मुताबिक एग्जिट पोल का फाइनल आंकड़ा आ गया है और इसमें एनडीए को अपने दम पर बहुमत मिलता दिखाई दे रहा है. एनडीए को 542 में से 277 सीटें मिलती दिख रही हैं और अन्य के खाते में 135 सीटें जाती दिख रही हैं. वहीं कांग्रेस को 130 सीटों पर जीत मिलती दिख रही है.

एग्जिट पोल का फाइनल आंकड़ा देखें तो पंजाब की 13 सीटों में से बीजेपी को 5 सीटों पर जीत मिल रही है. कांग्रेस 8 सीटों पर कब्जा जमा रही है वहीं आम आदमी पार्टी का खाता भी नहीं खुल रहा है.
