Barabanki: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Priyanka Singh Rawat from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 211878 votes. The polling / voting in Barabanki constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 5 on 6 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Upednra Rawat and Samajwadi Party#s Ram Sagar Rawat
