WBJEE 2019: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the exam date, as per which, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2019 is scheduled to be organized on Sunday, 19th May 2019 across the state of West Bengal for candidates seeking admissions to various Undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Government Colleges and self-financed Engineering & Technological Institutes in the state. The registration process will begin at WBJEEB’s official website - wbjeeb.nic.in on 26th December 2018 and will be wrapped by 22nd January 2019. The examination will be organized in Offline mode in Objective Type Questions format. WBJEE 2019 - Exam Scheme: WBJEE 2019 will comprise of two papers viz: Paper-I – Mathematics – 11 am to 1 pm – 75 Questions Paper-II – Physics & Chemistry (Combined) – 2 pm to 4 pm – 80 Questions (40+40) Candidates appearing for both papers will be eligible for admissions to Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in all institutions, provided they are awarded GMR (General Merit Rank) ranks; while, candidates who will appear only for Paper- II will be eligible to apply for Pharmacy courses only (except in Jadhavpur University) subject to award of PMR (Pharmacy Merit Rank) ranks. WBJEE 2019 - Important Dates: Online Application Process Begins – 26th December 2018 Online Application Process Ends – 22nd January 2019 Online Correction Window & Downloading of Revised Applications – 23rd to 25th January 2019 Downloading of Admit Cards – 7th May 2019 WBJEE 2019 Exam Date – 19th May 2019 WBJEE 2019 Result Date – 25th June 2019 Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must be Class 12th passed or its equivalent in regular class mode with Physics and Maths as subjects along with either one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as a mandatory subject. Applicants must have scored minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in these 3 subjects. Age-Limit: While there’s no upper limit to apply for WBJEE 2019 (except Marine Engineering course), the applicant must have attained 17 years of age as on 31 st December 2019.
