UGC NET Exam Dates Changed, Admit Card To Be Released Soon

UGC-NET 2025 exam dates have been changed. The exam will now be held from June 25-29.

Important news for those preparing for the UGC NET June 2025 exam! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam dates for the UGC NET June 2025 session. The exam will now be held from June 25th to June 29th, 2025. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for the first week of June, but the new dates have been finalised.

The NTA has also released an official notice regarding this. The subject-wise exam schedule can now be viewed on the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can check the website to find out the date and shift of their paper.

UGC-NET Exam Format

  • The UGC NET exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. This time, the exam will be held for a total of 85 subjects.
  • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
  • Eligibility for Assistant Professor
  • Eligibility for admission to PhD programmes

When Will The Admit Card be Released?

The UGC NET 2025 admit card will be released approximately 10 days before the exam. Candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA website and not miss any important updates.

Where Will The Exam Be Held?

The NTA will release a list of cities where the exam will be conducted about 10 days before the exam. This will help candidates plan their travel. This information will also be available on the ugcnet.nta.ac.in website.

How To Download The Admit Card?

  • First, go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in
  • Click on the 'UGC NET June 2025 Admit Card Download' link
  • Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin
  • After submitting, download the admit card and take a printout
