UGC NET 2023 June Registration Begins Tomorrow, Exams from June 13: UGC Chairman
After the registration will begins tomorrow, May 10 candidates would be able to apply for UGC-NET 2023 on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC-NET June 2023 for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for assistant professors in 83 subjects through the computer-based test (CBT) mode, said University Grants Commission Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar on Tuesday. The submission of the online application form will start from May 10 and will end on May 31, 2023, till 5 pm, Kumar said.
The examination will be held from June 13 to June 22, 2023, the UGC chief told news agency ANI.

The University Grants Commission has entrusted the National Testing Agency with the task of conducting nationwide UGC-NET examinations to assess the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.
The UGC-NET examination, taking place twice every year, has been conducted by the NTA in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode since December 2018.
UGC-NET 2023: How To Apply
After the registration will begins tomorrow, candidates would be able to apply for UGC-NET 2023 on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The candidates can follow the steps below to register themselves for the UGC-NET 2023 examination.
- Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Search for the registration link in the homepage.
- Click on the link to get yourself registered.
- Then enter your details and click on submit.
- Save the form and download it for future reference.
Last month, the testing agency announced the UGC NET 2023 Results and issued e-certificates and award letters to candidates who have qualified.
Candidates must note that UGC NET-qualifying candidates are eligible for two certificates: Certificate of Lectureship (LS), and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), based on their performance and score in the exam. Candidates must also note that while there is no cap on the validity of the Certificate of Lectureship, the UGC NET JRF certificate is valid for a maximum period of three years from the date of issuing.
