Ahead Of Andhra Global Investors Summit, Switzerland Prez Heaps Praises On CM Jagan Reddy For Education Model

Ignazio Cassis valued the welfare programmes that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy implemented, particularly the educational system.

President of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis has heaped praises on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for implementing educational reforms in the state. Cassis's praise for CM Reddy comes ahead of the Andhra Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023. Cassis valued the welfare programmes that CM Jaganmohan Reddy implemented, particularly the educational system. 

Cassis stated at the United Nations Office in Geneva's "Education for Future" conference that Jagan Mohan Reddy changed the face of government schools through the Nadu-Nedu program. Additionally, he lauded the government for providing government school students with all the necessary amenities.

CM Reddy was recently honoured by the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, for his contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals. At the International Cooperation Forum - Education for Future, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from February 15 to 16, 2023, he was recognized for the Naadu Nedu Scheme that his government had implemented.


Ahead Of Andhra Global Investors Summit, Switzerland Prez Heaps Praises On CM Jagan Reddy For Education Model

The Global Investors Summit (GIS) will be held in Andhra Pradesh on March 3 and 4, reported PTI.

It is likely that participants in the event—leaders in the national and international industries as well as delegates—will announce investments worth trillions of rupees. 

CM Reddy expressed his satisfaction prior to the summit. He said the state had put in unwavering efforts to ensure that the summit was a remarkable success and attracted industry leaders from around the world.  “It is a significant accomplishment that investors of the caliber of Birlas, Bangars, Adanis, and Bhajankas are now planning to invest in Andhra Pradesh, as their inauguration of plants in the state is a testament to the fact that AP has earned their trust,” he was quoted as saying to PTI.

“Here I am to invite you to Visakhapatnam, which will be our capital in the days to come,” he added.
