Maharashtra Board MSBSHSE SSC Result LIVE Updates: Maharashtra board has announced result for class 10th examination in a press conference, but the scores were not made available to the students instanly. The scorecard has now been released after 1 pm on the official result portal today. Students need to enter valid roll number & mother's first name as given on the admit card on the official website to check their results.
Over 17 lakh students who took the examination are waitin anxiously to check their scores. Announcement was already done for the results and a pass percentage of 95.30% has been recorded this year. Among all the regions, it is Konkan region which haas recorded highest pass percentage with 98.77 %.
For those wondering how the scoring for Geograohy paper will be done, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education has said that they will use the average derived from the rest of the subject which will be used as the cancelled Class 10 Geography marks. The examination of Geography was cancelled due to the coronvirus induced lcokdown.

The state School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had earlier said that the results of class 10 would be available before July 31.

On July 16, the Board had released the results for the class 12th or higher secondary certificate (HSC) results and it was expected that it will follow it up with class 10 results as it is usually released soon after the class 12 results. This year the pandemic and the nationwide lockdown had disrupted Board exams and the evaluation of answer scripts. In the case of class 10, the exam for geography could not be conducted. The Board is, therefore, going to use an average of marks obtained in other subjects for Geography.
Once the results are released it will available on the official websites mahresult.nic.in, maharashtraeducation.com, and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. According to media reports, this year 17,65,898 students appeared for the exams. To pass the exams students require at least a minimum of 35 percent. In 2019 the overall pass percentage was 77.10 percent.

- Fill in credentials such as the board assigned roll number, mother’s first name
- Your results will appear on the screen.
- Download the soft copy for future use and reference.
Board has said it will reward those who have shown exemplary performance this year.
Allowed to keep terms (ATKT) is a process in the Indian education system to allow students to study in the next grade if they have failed in 1 to 4 subjects.
