SPJIMR Invites Applications For PGPDM Batch 25 For Professionals Working In Social Sector

SPJIMR has opened applications for its Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM), starting in February 2025.

Mumbai: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) has announced the opening of applications for its Post Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGPDM) for the Class of 2026. The silver jubilee batch (PGPDM Batch 25) is set to commence in February 2025.

As India’s only Development Management Programme internationally accredited by both AMBA and AACSB, the PGPDM offers a distinctive combination of academic rigor and practical learning tailored for professionals engaged in the social sector. “We are thrilled to welcome the next cohort of changemakers who are dedicated to driving societal impact,” said Prof. Tanojkumar Meshram, Chairperson of PGPDM at SPJIMR.

Prof. Meshram recently participated in a panel discussion on “Navigating the Challenges for CSRs and NGOs in India,” where he highlighted the critical need for capacity building in the social sector to fully leverage the growing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds, which now amount to nearly ₹30,000 crore annually. “However, the development of skills in the social sector has not kept pace, potentially resulting in a gap between expectations and outcomes,” he noted.

The SPJIMR PGPDM aims to bridge this gap. Since its inception in 2011, it has positively impacted over 350 organisations across 26 Indian states. Alumni of the programme hold significant positions such as founders, heads, trustees, and directors of NGOs, as well as social entrepreneurs, CSR managers, programme officers, and consultants within the social sector.
