WB HS Result 2025 declared: 90.79% pass; Purba Midnapore tops with 95.74%. Check Class 12 results now at wbchse.wb.gov.in using roll number and DOB.

Kolkata, May 7, 2025:  The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) officially announced the West Bengal HS Result 2025 today, May 7. The results were first unveiled at a press conference at 12:30 PM, with online access made available at 2:00 PM via the official portals: https://result.wb.gov.in, https://wbchse.wb.gov.in, and https://wbchse.wb.gov.in/student/results.

This year, the overall pass percentage for the Class 12 board exams stands at an impressive 90.79%, reflecting a commendable performance by West Bengal's students. Among the districts, Purba Midnapore emerged as the top performer, recording a stellar 95.74% pass rate, underscoring its continued academic excellence.It was followed by North 24 Parganas with 93.53%, and Kolkata with 93.43%.

A total of 72 students have secured ranks in the top 10.

The 2025 Higher Secondary (HS) results cover all three academic streams — Science, Commerce, and Arts. Each student's result includes personal details along with subject-wise marks. The original mark sheets will be distributed through respective schools starting May 8 at 10:00 AM.

A total of 4,73,919 regular candidates appeared for the HS examinations this year, which were conducted between March 3 and March 18, 2025.

  • Click on the link for WB HS Result 2025
  • A new window will appear
  • Enter your roll number and date of birth
  • Your result will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and print a copy for future reference

Please note that the marksheet received online is only provisional. The final marksheet will have to be collected from the respective school of the student.
