Background

WBCHSE HS 12th Result 2023 Updates: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the West Bengal Board Uccha Madhyamik Result today. WB Board 12th Result 2023 link is now available for students to check. To access their results, students can visit the official websites of the Board, namely wbresults.nic.in, wbchse.nic.in, and wbbse.org. Additionally, the WB Board 12th Result 2023 can also be checked on news.abplive.com. This year, WBCHSE has integrated QR code on marks sheets of HS result. Distribution of physical copies of the marksheet and Higher Secondary Board pass certificates will commence on May 31, 2023. This 

In class 12, boys have performed better than girls. The pass percentage for girls is 87.26%, while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 91.86%. The overall pass percentage is 89.25 percent. A total of 52,878 candidates have got more than 80 per cent marks, while 2,73,580 students have got above 60 per cent.

Students can apply for post publication scrutiny from May 31 to June 15. The WBCHSE Class 12 examinations were held from March 14, 2023 to March 27, 2023. This year, a total of more than 8.4 lakh candidates appeared for the higher secondary examination. In order to pass the Class 12 WBCHSE exam, students need to obtain a minimum of 30 marks out of 100.

In the previous year, over 7 lakh students successfully cleared the higher secondary examination, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 88.44%. Among them, boys achieved a pass percentage of 90.19%, while girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.19%.

Madhyamik Result Already Announced

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education announced the results for the Class 10 or Madhyamik examinations on May 19, 2023. The overall passing percentage for the exams is 86.15%. Among the districts, East Midnapore has the highest pass percentage, with 96.81% of students passing the WB Madhyamik exams. Kalimpong follows closely with a pass percentage of 94.13%, and Kolkata ranks third with a pass percentage of 93.75%.

In class 12, boys have performed better than girls. The pass percentage for girls is 87.26%, while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 91.86%.

52,878 Students Achieved More Than 80% Marks

According to the data shared by Board, a total of 52,878 candidates have achieved more than 80% marks. Additionally, 2,73,580 students have secured marks above 60%.
