UGC NET Result 2024 Lastest Update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the results for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 re-examination soon. Once released, candidates who appeared for the UGC NET 2024 exam can check and download their results from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The final answer key is also expected to be released along with the results.

Previously, the NTA had issued provisional UGC NET answer keys in two phases, with the objection window closing on September 14, 2024. Candidates were allowed to challenge the provisional answer keys by paying Rs 200 per question. Subject matter experts will review these challenges, and if any are found valid, the final answer key will be updated accordingly.

The UGC NET June re-exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, 4, and 5. In the UGC NET exam, candidates are awarded two marks for every correct answer, with no penalty for incorrect responses. Unanswered or marked-for-review questions do not earn or lose points.

For questions with multiple correct answers or ambiguities, candidates will receive marks for any valid selection. In cases where a question is deemed incorrect and discarded, candidates who attempted it will still be awarded two marks.
