Background

Telangana TS SSC Result 2023 Updates: The Board of School Education, Telangana has announced the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results today. Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy has announced the TS SSC results in a press conference. Students who have taken the Class 10 exams can access their scores from the official website - bse.telangana.gov.in or bseresults.telangana.gov.in. TS SSC Class 10 exams were conducted from April 4 to April 11. Over 4.90 lakh students had registered for the Class 10 exams for the year 2023.

To qualify for the TS SSC examination, students need to obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks in each subject and overall. The TS SSC results can be accessed using the candidate's roll number and date of birth.

Last year, a total of 5,03,579 students appeared for the TS SSC Class 10 exams, out of which 4,53,201 students passed. The pass percentage of girls in the Class 10 examination was 92.45 percent while that of boys was 87.16 percent. Among the districts, Siddipet recorded the highest pass percentage of 97 percent while Hyderabad had the lowest pass percentage of 79 percent. 30,007 schools recorded a 100 percent pass percentage, while 15 state schools recorded a zero pass percentage.

The result for the Class 10 exams was declared on June 30 at Dr. MCRHRD Institute at 11:30 am. The TS SSC exams were conducted from May 23 to June 1, with the timing being from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm.

Due to the Covid pandemic, the TS SSC exams were cancelled in both 2020 and 2021. In 2021, students were promoted based on their internal assessment marks, resulting in a 100 percent pass percentage with 5,21,073 students promoted. In 2020, only three out of twelve exams were conducted before the lockdown, and the remaining exams, including English, Mathematics, and Science, were cancelled. As a result, the final results were determined based on internal assessments.

Private Students Pass Percentage Records At 44.51%

According to the Telangana SSC results, the pass percentage of private candidates is 44.51%, which is lower than the overall pass percentage of 86.60% for all candidates.

TS SSC Result 2023: Nirmal District Tops

Nirmal district leads with a pass percentage of 99 percent in the Telangana SSC 2023 results, followed by Kumram Bheem Asifabad at 98.7 percent. However, Vikarabad district has recorded the lowest pass percentage with only 59.4 percent of students passing the exams.
