TN HSC Result 2024 Live Updates: The Tamil Nadu School Education Board has announced the TN HSC 12th Result 2024 or Tamil Nadu TNDGE +2 HSE Results today, May 6, 2024. The results were declared at 9:30 am on the board's official website. Students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu class 12th board exams, which were conducted from March 1 to 22, 2024, will need their registration number and date of birth to access their results.

A total of 7,60,606 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 7,19,196 successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 94.56%. Among the passed candidates, 3,93,890 were female, with a pass percentage of 96.44%, while 3,25,305 were male, achieving a pass percentage of 92.37%. 

Last year, 7,55,451 students successfully cleared the Tamil Nadu class 12th exams. Out of these, 4,05,753 were girls, and 3,49,697 were boys. The overall pass rate was 94.03%, with girls achieving a pass percentage of 96.38% and boys achieving 91.45%.

This year, more than eight lakh students appeared for the TN HSC class 12th examinations 2024. To pass the TN HSC examinations, students are required to score a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks in each subject. Students failing to meet this passing criteria will be declared fail. However, students who are failing in one or two subjects will be allowed to appear for the compartment exams.
