Tamil Nadu Class 12 Results 2025 To Be Announced On This Date: How To Check, Direct Link & Details

Tamil Nadu Class 12 Results 2025 will be announced by Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi at the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai.

TN 12th Result Date 2025: The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has officially confirmed that the Class 12 exam results for the academic year 2024–25 will be released on Thursday, May 8, at 9:00 AM. The results will be announced by Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi at the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai.

Where To Check TN 12th Result 2025:

Students can access their results through the following official websites: https://resultedigilocker.gov.in and http://www.tnresults.nic.in In addition to the websites, students can also: Receive results through their respective schools or use the SMS option (details available on their exam declaration forms).

Steps To View Class 12 Result Online:

  • Visit one of the official result portals.
  • Enter your registration number, date of birth, and any other required information.
  • Click on the Submit or Enter button.
  • Your result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and print a copy for your records.

Students will later be able to collect their original marksheets from their schools.

Meanwhile, to clear the TN Class 12 exams, students must score a minimum of 35% in each subject and meet the required overall aggregate. Some subjects also include internal assessments or practical exams.

For those who do not pass, the DGE offers the option to appear for re-examinations, provided applications are submitted within the stipulated timeframe. Successful candidates can proceed with higher education or career opportunities.

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) conducted the Class 12 board exams for 2025 from March 3 to March 25, while practical exams were held earlier, from February 7 to 14.

In 2024, the results for the HSC Plus Two exams were announced on May 6. That year, the board exams took place between March 1 and 22, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.56%, slightly higher than the previous year. A total of 7,60,606 students appeared for the exams.
