SSC CGL Result 2024: Tier 1 Results To Be Released Soon On ssc.gov.in; Qualifying Marks

The SSC will soon release the SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2024. Candidates can download their scorecard from the official website using their registration number and date of birth.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon release the SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2024. Candidates who took the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam can download their Tier 1 scorecard from the official website, ssc.gov.in, using their registration number and date of birth. The SSC CGL 2024 results will be based on the final Tier 1 answer key, with the provisional answer key having been released on October 4. Candidates had until October 8 to raise objections to the provisional answers. 

The SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 exam was conducted from September 9 to September 26, as part of a recruitment drive to fill 17,727 Group 'B' and Group 'C' positions across various government departments and ministries.

The Tier 1 exam consisted of objective-type, multiple-choice questions covering four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section included 25 questions, with a maximum of 50 marks per section. All questions were available in both English and Hindi, except for the English Comprehension section.

When To Check SSC CGL Result 2024?

The results are usually released a few weeks after the exam. The exact date for the declaration of the result has not been announced yet. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for updates.

Steps To Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link for the CGL Tier 1 result.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials (registration number and date of birth).

Step 4: Your SSC CGL Tier 1 scorecard will be displayed.

Step 5: Check and download the result.

SSC CGL Passing Marks

To pass the exam, candidates in the unreserved category need a minimum score of 30%, while OBC and EWS candidates must secure at least 25%. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark is 20%.
