NEET UG 2024 Result: NTA Declares NEET Result On exams.nta.ac.in, Check Direct Link

NEET UG 2024 Result: Students who have appeared in the national medical entrance exam can check their results on exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination (NEET-UG) results today, June 4, 2024. NEET Result 2024 is now available on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Students who appeared for the exam can now check their results by using registration number and date of birth. The NEET UG results have been declared based on today's final answer key. NTA will soon announce the names of the toppers along with the cut-off marks.

According to NTA data, a total of 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates participated in the exam. Overall, the attendance rate was recorded at 96.94 percent, with 96.92 percent for male candidates, 96.96 percent for female candidates, and 94.44 per cent for transgender candidates.

Students can follow the below-given steps to check and download the NEET UG 2024 Result:

Step 1: Visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, 'NEET UG 2024 Scorecard'.

Step 3: Enter your application or registration number and date of birth.

Step 4: NEET UG 2024 Result will be displayed on your screen.

Step 5: Check and download the result.

Step 6: You can also take a printout for future reference.

NEET 2024 Result: Know About Reservation Criteria

For NEET 2024, reservation criteria are as follows:

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% of seats in every course.
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of seats in every course.
  • Persons with Disability (PwBD): 5% of seats in each of the GEN, GEN-EWS, OBCNCL, SC, and ST category seats (Horizontal reservation).

NEET UG 2024: Marking Scheme

Students can check the NEET UG 2024 marking scheme below:

  • Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • One mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
  • No marks are to be deducted for questions not attempted.
