Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary And Higher Secondary Education informed that 94.22 per cent of students have passed the HSC exam. MSBSHSE pass percentage has dipped by 5.41 percentage points since last year. Last year 99.63 per cent of students passed the HSC exam, which was announced in August. The pass percentage for the Arts stream was 99.83 per cent.

It is likely that the Board will announce a list of toppers as the exams were conducted in a conventional manner. Last year it wasn't possible as the exams weren't conducted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Students have to secure 35 per cent in each subject and overall to pass the HSC 12th Arts stream exam. However, students unable to secure the minimum marks may be awarded grace marks on certain conditions.
