Karnataka PUC 2nd Results 2023: 74.67 Percent Students Pass Class 12, Meet The Toppers

Karnataka PUC 2nd Results 2023: A total 7,02,067 students appeared for the exam and out of this, 5,24,209 students have passed.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board today announced the Karnataka PUC 2nd Results 2023. The result link is now active and students who appeared for the exams can check their scores through the official website at karesults.nic.in.  Out of a total of 7,02,067 students who appeared for the exam, 5,24,209 students have successfully passed the class 12 exam. The overall pass percentage has increased to 74.67 percent. This year, the 2nd PUC exam witnessed a total of 23,754 absences. Girls have once again outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 80.25 percent as compared to boys' pass percentage of 69.05 percent.

Among the different streams, science students have emerged as the top performers with a pass percentage of 85.71 percent, while commerce students secured a pass percentage of 75.89 percent and arts students recorded 61.22 percent.

As for the district-wise performance, Dakshina Kannada district has secured the top position with an impressive pass percentage of 95.33 percent, followed closely by Udupi with a pass percentage of 95.24 percent. However, Yadgir district has performed the least, with a pass percentage of only 62.98 percent.

In Mathematics, a total of 2,704 students scored a perfect 100 out of 100, followed by 5,335 students in Computer Science and 3,475 students in Accountancy.

This year, 1,09,509 students scored a distinction (85 percent and above), while 77,371 students secured a pass or third class (below 50 percent).

Revaluation Process From May 3

Starting from May 3, candidates can apply for revaluation of their answer sheets through the online mode until May 8. However, only those candidates who have availed the scanned copy facility will be eligible to apply for re-evaluation. For every copy of the answer sheet that they want to get re-evaluated, a fee of Rs. 1670 must be paid.
