India Post GDS Result 2024: Candidates will be able to check the merit list from the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

India Post GDS Result 2024: The India Post will soon publish the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) results. The first merit list will be available on the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Along with the merit list, the India Post is expected to publish the cut-off marks and other relevant details. The merit list will be based on the marks or conversion of grades/points into marks from the Secondary School Examination of the 10th standard, calculated to an accuracy of four decimal places.

Steps To Check India Post GDS Merit List 2024

Once released, candidates can check the merit list by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link labeled ‘India Post GDS Merit List 2024.’

Step 3: A new page will appear on your screen.

Step 4: Open the PDF file to view your result.

Step 5: Check and download the result for future reference.

This year, a total of 44,228 vacancies have been announced nationwide, covering states such as Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, the North East, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

The registration process took place from July 15 to August 5, 2024, with a correction window available from August 6 to August 8, 2024.

After the merit list is released, India Post will invite the shortlisted candidates for physical verification. Details regarding the physical verification process will be communicated to candidates via their registered contact numbers.

Shortlisted applicants are required to submit an undertaking in the format provided as Annexure-IX, acknowledging their responsibility for any false or incorrect information provided in the form.
